World's Largest Event Security Firm Signs 3-Year Contract With New MLS Team Philadelphia Union

NORTHRIDGE, Calif., June 9 /PRNewswire/ Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC), the world's largest event security firm, is excited to announce the recent signing of a 3-year contract with Global Spectrum, PPL Park, and Major League Soccer's newest team, the Philadelphia Union.  Located in Chester, Pennsylvania, PPL Park is a brand new state-of-the-art stadium that will serve as the home field for the Union. With a seating capacity of 18,500 for soccer matches and approximately 22,000 for concerts, the stadium is expected to "Kick Start Chester" by bringing renewed life and vitality to the historic city.  PPL Park sits on the Chester waterfront and is the catalyst for the spectacular $500 million waterfront revitalization project.

The Global Spectrum team opening PPL Park includes General Manager Mike Scanlon, Operations Manager Jim McDonald, and Event Manager Steve Shultz. CSC will also be working closely with Philadelphia Union President Tom Veit and the entire staff in order to help create one the best soccer venues in the league. CSC will be providing services for gate searches, field and locker room coverage, general and premium seating security, and the 24-hour command center security.  CSC currently provides services for 5 other MLS teams, including Chivas USA, Columbus Crew, DC United, Los Angeles Galaxy, and Real Salt Lake. Global Spectrum has also added the services of Apex Security Group, a CSC affiliate company, to provide security for all exterior lots in the city of Chester.
