World's Largest Event Security Firm Signs New Contract With University of Delaware

NORTHRIDGE, Calif., May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC), the world's largest event security firm, recently signed a new 3-year contract with the University of Delaware. CSC will provide security, ushering, ticket taking, and parking attendants for all of the university's home football games held at Tubby Raymond Field in Delaware Stadium. CSC will also provide staffing for special events and concerts held at the 5,000 seat Bob Carpenter Center, which is located on campus.

Delaware Stadium was built in 1952, and its 22,000-seat capacity makes it the largest stadium in the Atlantic 10 Conference and one of the largest I-AA football facilities in the nation. The stadium is at the center of the David M. Nelson Athletic Complex, which includes the $20.5 million Bob Carpenter Center, a multi-purpose facility south of the stadium that opened in 1992, and the $3.3 million Fred P. Rullo Jr. stadium which opened in 1998.
