WOW! and Augusta GreenJackets Partner for the Eighth Consecutive Year to Recognize Exceptional Teachers in the CSRA

Broadband provider handed out Teacher of the Month accolades throughout the 2025 MiLB season along with participation in the Stuff the Bus Annual School Supply Drive

Teacher of the Month Award. Students, parents and family members in the surrounding area nominated teachers in the CSRA that have gone above and beyond to create a positive impact on their community. For the sixth year in a row, WOW! also donated school supplies and backpacks to the annual Stuff the Bus Back-To-School Drive to benefit the United Way of the CSRA.

WOW!, a longstanding supporter of the CSRA community and the internet, phone and TV provider of the GreenJackets' stadium, SRP Park, honored six outstanding educators with its Teacher of the Month award at home games during the 2025 season. Each winner was recognized during on-field pre-game ceremonies and received $500 from WOW! for classroom expenses, four GreenJackets reserved seat tickets and a commemorative plaque serving as a lasting symbol of their accomplishment and impact on students in the Central Savannah River area.

In partnership with the GreenJackets and SRP Federal Credit Union, WOW! also co-hosted the Stuff the Bus Annual School Supply Drive at SRP Park in July. The event collected 34,273 school supplies that were distributed to students in need at the start of the school year.
