SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Three Managers were recently promoted to Director in the San Francisco office of WTAS. The internal promotes included Stephen deHaan and Mamie Chew who both are members of the firm's private client services practice and Kelly Ackel who is a member of the firm's valuation team.

Combined, these Directors bring nearly 25 years of experience to the firm. DeHaan's experience includes implementing estate, gift and income tax strategies for complex ultra high net worth family groups and individuals, executives at early-stage companies and closely-held businesses. Chew works primarily with high net worth family groups and individuals, with a specialization in pre-divorce forensic accounting, domestic couples, stock option planning for individuals at start-ups, agribusiness and estate planning. Ackel is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in business valuation who has experience with the valuation of closely-held businesses, business interests, intangible assets, intellectual property, debt instruments and derivatives.
