Xceed Preparatory Academy Is Open For The 2017-2018 School Year

MIAMI and CORAL SPRINGS, Fla., Aug. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Xceed Preparatory Academy is a network of private college prep middle and high schools that provides personalized learning plans for each student. The Xceed model is a blend of the best educational practices combining online curriculum with on-site academic coaches and project-based learning to provide a high-quality education for grades 6-12.
Xceed Preparatory Academy hosted two grand opening events to celebrate the openings of its Coral Springs and Miami/Dadeland locations. The Xceed Team met with students, families, city commissioners and longtime supporters to tour the new facilities and learn more about the Xceed's educational model.
Xceed students create their personalized learning plan which allows them to pursue their academic goals and extracurricular interests without compromise. Students benefit from one-on-one instruction from subject-certified academic coaches, as well as their own college counselor. Each student has year-round, 24 hour a day access to their online courses. Xceed Prep has more than 100 courses to choose from including Advanced Placement (AP) and honors courses.

The Xceed Prep campuses, located in Coral Springs at 3301 North University Drive
and in Dadeland, are modeled after high-tech start-up facilities. The locations have open spaces, conference rooms, lounges, writable table tops and walls and many different types of learning areas for every type of student. The Miami location located at 9350 South Dixie Highway has a one-of-a-kind mural designed by local Miami artist Abstrk. Abstrk designed and painted a beautiful, original mural, symbolizing the unique opportunity Xceed Prep offers to students who desire a flexible schedule and new kind of school.
Although Xceed Prep is a new venture, co-founder and CEO Dr. Brent Goldman and co-founder Richard Goldman have been two of the top private school leaders in South Florida for several decades. Richard Goldman was the Dean of Graduate Education at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) for 20 years. In 1996, Brent and Richard co-founded The Sagemont School in Weston, Florida. Under Brent Goldman's leadership, the school grew to more than 800 students and sent graduates to universities such as Harvard, Princeton, Columbia and Vanderbilt.
