Xi3 to develop a range of Intel based Micro-Mini PC products for the Post-PC Era

SALT LAKE CITY, June 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Xi3 Corporation today announced it has entered into a multi-phase agreement with Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) to develop, manufacture and sell next-generation Micro-Mini PCs, including Intel's successful Intel® NUC (Next Unit of Computing) computers.

Micro-Mini PCs represent one of the only growing sectors of the general PC market, as enterprises seek the increased performance, greater power efficiency and modularity of ultra-small form factor computers.

Xi3 will initially work with Intel to further commercialize Intel NUC-based systems to global enterprise and government customers. The companies will also work together on new ultra-small form factor computing products leveraging Xi3's Intellectual Property and Intel's low power processor technology.
