Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel retains AAA Five-Diamond status for 2027 status for 2027

Yaamava' maintains its standing as the only AAA Five-Diamond casino resort with designation earned by fewer than 1% of nearly 23,000 AAA-inspected hotels

HIGHLAND, Calif., Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- For a third consecutive year, Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel has retained the prestigious AAA Five Diamond designation, an honor earned by fewer than 1% of nearly 23,000 AAA-inspected hotels. Yaamava' remains the only AAA Five-Diamond casino resort in the United States, a distinction that reflects its unwavering commitment to luxury, personalized service and exceptional guest experiences.

Awarded to a select group of hotels that exemplify the highest standards of hospitality, the AAA Five-Diamond designation recognizes properties that deliver exceptional accommodations, elevated amenities and meticulous service. To earn and maintain the distinction, hotels undergo rigorous, unannounced evaluations conducted by AAA inspectors, who assess every aspect of the guest experience.

"Inspired by the enduring commitment the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation has demonstrated in stewarding this enterprise, this recognition reflects the dedication and passion our team members have brought to every guest interaction over the past 40 years," said Kenji Hall, General Manager of Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel. "Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation has long invested in creating a world-class destination for our guests, and maintaining our AAA Five-Diamond status for a third consecutive year reflects that commitment to excellence, exceptional hospitality and unforgettable experiences."

Further underscoring its standing among the nation's elite hospitality destinations, Yaamava' was recently ranked No. 2 among casino hotels nationwide in AAA's 2026 Diamond Top 10 list. The annual ranking recognizes the highest-rated hotels in each category, as determined by AAA inspectors through year-round, in-person evaluations that assess properties against the organization's rigorous Diamond standards.

The redesignation marks another milestone in a banner year for the resort, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in July and continued to earn national recognition across the gaming, hospitality and entertainment industries.

Among its recent accolades, Yaamava' was named Property of the Year at the 2026 Global Gaming Awards Americas, while Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, received Responsible Business of the Year honors. At the International Entertainment Buyers Association Conference, Yaamava' earned the Casino of the Year award, and Vice President of Entertainment Drew Dixon was named Casino Buyer of the Year.

Yaamava' also led the 2026 USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, earning top honors for Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas, Best Casino Hotel, Best Casino Restaurant, Best Casino for Slots and Best Players Club, while sister property Palms Casino Resort was named Best Casino in Las Vegas for the third consecutive year.
