Yadira Abigail Spencer, known as Abby has served Dawson Geophysical for 14yrs in Accounts Payable  and just been promoted as her current role as Supervisor for her department for a year now. Abby has 25 years of experience in her field in accounting.  Spencer's area of expertise lies in the areas of management leadership training and accounts payable.

Throughout the course of her education and training, Spencer attained her Associate Degree in Accounting through the American Commercial College.  Her goal as a leader is to teach, mentor and motivate to help improve others. She is self-motivated offering a strong ethic and determination to complete tasks in a timely manner. She desires to continue in learning more not only in this field but willing to jump over to learn new tasks.  She's not afraid to fail and believes success comes with challenges. To further her professional development, Spencer is affiliated with United Way and is also charitable towards organizations affiliated with Breast Cancer.

When she is not glued to her chair, she spends time at home working on anything that comes to mind from knitting for her grandkids to arts and craft. Dancing is one of her passions and to keep her heart pumping she picked up Zumba which helps her stay in shape. When she needs peace of mind she will pull her camera out and take her best shots of nature. She has picked up a new sport that will help her get ready for retirement, in hope by then she will become a pro at golf.

She is an individual who lives with passion, dedication and respect. She is grateful to have had parents Ruth and Erbey Spencer, her 4 lovely children Crystal (29), Victoria (27), Matthew (26) and Mark (21) for being supportive and Christopher Morris for guiding her way to success and most importantly she thanks the man up above.
