Yapital Launch at the Novum Group

Guests at Novum Group hotels can now pay with the new cross-channel payment system

Yapital Financial AG has announced the launch of its new cross-channel payment system at Novum Group Holding GmbH. The owner-operated Novum Group manages a total of 35 hotels in Germany under the brands Novum Hotels, Design and Style Hotels and Centrum Hotels. This makes the Novum Group the first group in the hotel industry to offer its customers this innovative payment method.

Yapital, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Otto Group, is reaching a new target group with this collaboration and is present in yet another everyday payment situation: Novum guests can now use this new payment method in the online payment mix to book hotel rooms.

To make a reservation at the online checkout, the customer simply uses the Yapital app to scan the on-screen QR code and clicks on "Confirm". The customer then receives an email as booking confirmation. Alternatively, the guest can pay by entering the Yapital user name and password.
