Yiwugou.com Changed into Yiwugo.com with New Logo Released

YIWU, China, Feb. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Yiwugou.com, the original official website of the largest commodity market in the world, was changed into Yiwugo.com. A new logo containing the new domain name was released simultaneously.

This update is reported as a major part of Yiwugo's global strategy in 2018. The original name "Yiwugou.com" in Chinese Pinyin was not easy to comprehend and memorize by foreign traders. To adapt to a global environment, "Yiwugou.com" was updated into "Yiwugo.com" to enhance international visibility. Also released was a new logo which retained the predominant color of cheerful, lively and warm orange to signal happiness and wellbeing that small commodities from Yiwugo.com may bring about.

As one of the largest commodity export bases in China, Yiwu Market receives nearly 500,000 foreign traders every year, including more than 13,000 resident traders from some 100 countries and regions. Yiwu, from which small commodities are exported to more than 210 countries around the globe, has attracted over 20 transnational retailers and 30 renowned domestic chain stores, including Walmart and Metro AG, to set up their permanent purchasing teams in the city. Benefiting from the opening of CR Express under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, related countries have seen rising demands in recent years.

Therefore, it is imperative to push Yiwugo.com - the online platform of Yiwu Market - to the world. The revamped international website of Yiwugo.com and overseas service stations were launched successively after the Chinese New Year. The revamped version allows an orderly showcase of offline suppliers and products from Yiwu Market, with additional functions like "Request for Quotation" and "You May Like" to help international purchasers source what they want. Also available on the new website are contact details of local partners in a dozen countries. Those partners are overseas stations to serve local communities, through which purchasers from different countries can obtain local procurement support and assistance.
