For the first time, iconic candy maker WONKA is introducing a collection of delicious and decadent chocolates called WONKA Exceptionals, which were inspired by the famous WONKA story! To introduce the new WONKA chocolates, the candy maker has launched a nationwide sweepstakes many thought too-good-to-be-true – a hunt for WONKA's Golden Tickets. The grand prize for finding one of WONKA's 10 Golden Tickets: a trip around the world!

WANT A GOLDEN TICKET?

A total of 10 WONKA Golden Tickets can be found in WONKA Exceptionals chocolate tablet bars and bags of minis. These packages are marked with a Golden Ticket "burst" on the front, and are now available at retail stores nationwide. Each Golden Ticket grants its holder a trip around the world for him or her and three friends – a once-in-a-lifetime grand prize worth up to $40,000.

The 3,919 Purple Tickets offer instant win "ticket"-oriented prizes, such as $500 airline vouchers, $50 Ticketmaster gift cards, $25 movie theater gift certificates, and free WONKA Exceptionals chocolates.

IT'S HOW WONKA DOES CHOCOLATE

As expected of WONKA, WONKA Exceptionals chocolates are imaginative, original pieces unlike any other chocolates. The collection includes three varieties, each available in 3.5 oz bars and bags of individually wrapped minis.

The new WONKA Scrumdiddlyumptious Chocolate Bar is made with bits of scrumptious toffee pieces, crispy cookies and crunchy peanuts wrapped in milk chocolate. The new WONKA Chocolate Waterfall Bar tempts the taste buds with a combination of creamy white chocolate swirled in milk chocolate. And finally, the new WONKA Domed Dark Chocolate Bar is made of rich, velvety dark chocolate topped with smooth milk chocolate drops.

WONKA chocolates debuted in stores nationwide beginning in March 2010 with a suggested retail price of $2.39 for each 3.5 oz. tablet bar and $4.29 for each 8.5 oz.-9.5 oz. bag of minis.
