Youfit® Health Clubs Announces a Winner of 60-Day Challenge
Winner Tony Spates Received $5,000 and a Free One-Year Membership
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla., May 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Youfit Health Clubs has announced Tony Spates the winner of its 60-Day weight loss challenge.
Tony Spates, a Youfit Boynton Beach member, lost 31% of his body weight and received the grand prize of $5,000, a one-year Youfit membership and 15 free YouCoach® personal training sessions.
"Giving up chips and ice cream was a big heartbreaker. I wanted to do a cheat day during the challenge, but knew if I did, I would keep cheating," said Spates. "I feel incredible. I sleep better, and I'm more active and energetic. I had plantar fasciitis, but the stretching and cardio helped to where it's no longer an issue."
"Staff members would give words of encouragement and kept me fired up," Spates said of Youfit staff. But there's one person without whom he said he couldn't have won. "When I didn't feel like waking up early or going in the evening, I remembered that my daughter is my motivation. She was the driving force that kept me going."
The 60-Day Challenge began March 2, and the final weigh-in was April 30. YouCoaches were available for consultation and led participants in fitness boot camps three times per week. Participants received emails with exercise tips, healthy eating suggestions and exclusive challenge content. Members with the biggest percent of weight loss at individual Youfits won one-year Youfit memberships and five free YouCoach sessions each.
