YOUi Labs announces its latest Natural User Interface (NUI) product

To support FLIP's gesture-based NUI, YOUi Labs worked closely with SoftKinetics to integrate their libraries into the YOUi Labs uSwish UI engine and incorporate their 3D DepthSense camera technology used to capture viewers in the room at any given time. As a result, FLIP can detect simple hand movements to perform activities like pausing the TV or selecting what to watch, as well as displaying personalized recommendations based on the individual profiles of those in sight of the camera.
