YouMail Hits More Than 1 Billion Calls Answered, Brings Total Funds Raised to $12.5 Million

IRVINE, Calif., July 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- YouMail, Inc. (www.youmail.com), a leading provider of cloud-based communications apps and services for smartphones, today announced it has reached the remarkable milestone of answering 1 billion phone calls for its users, including 500 million since September 2010.

The company also disclosed it has achieved another key milestone in its growth trajectory by receiving new funding that brings its overall total of equity and debt financing since 2007 to $12.5 million.

Participating in the latest funding were VantagePoint Capital Partners, Siemer Ventures and the Tech Coast Angels, Quilici said.  Further details were not disclosed.
