"Bistro Sabor's presence in downtown Napa was prompted by the renaissance taking place here," said owner Ariel Ceja. "The Uptown Theater, the Opera House, the River Walk, the Oxbow district, new hotels, new restaurants, new tasting rooms, the Visitors Bureau and the proximity to my family's Ceja Vineyards Wine Tasting Salon will bring foot traffic to Bistro Sabor," he added.
Ariel Ceja lived in the Los Angeles area for four years while attending Occidental College in Pasadena. He majored in film and graduated in 2005. Ceja was introduced to readily available world cuisine in Southern California and he now adds diversity to the food scene in downtown Napa. "Bistro Sabor provides a wide spectrum of flavors found throughout Latin America and is a nice addition to the growing list of wonderful restaurants here," added Ceja. "With Bistro Sabor's strategic location, it will attract new fans and contribute to the growth of our much loved city of Napa," said Ceja.
Bistro Sabor offers authentic Latin American street food in the heart of downtown Napa. Selected fine wines, artisan beers and sake are available to complement the restaurant's menu of tomatillo salsa, fire roasted tomato salsa and red chile salsa; creme fraiche and Cotija cheese dusted elotes (corn-on-the-cob); Oaxaca cheese, mushroom and spinach quesadillas; salmon ceviche tostadas; pupusas (black beans, carnitas and chicken); pozole; tacos; menudo (Saturdays and Sundays only); churros and almond infused flan with raspberry salsa.
