YR Fitness Partners With LeFit to Expand Its Presence in China
SHANGHAI, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- YR Fitness, a commercial fitness equipment manufacturer focused on original design, in-house R&D and manufacturing, is expanding its work with LeFit, one of China's largest fitness networks.
The cooperation began in 2025, with YR developing customized equipment around LeFit's operating requirements. LeFit operates more than 2,000 gyms across 50 cities, built around a 24-hour, digitally managed fitness model.
For a network of that scale, equipment decisions are not only about what performs well on the gym floor. They also affect installation, maintenance and long-term operating costs across many locations.
Designed Around Real Operating Needs
Rather than supplying only standard catalog products, YR worked with LeFit on dedicated product optimization based on the chain's most-used equipment and operating experience.
The development focused on practical requirements including stable daily performance, durability, simplified maintenance and efficient installation.
YR also supports delivery and installation, helping reduce the number of steps operators need to coordinate when opening or upgrading locations.

LeFit's model places a premium on consistency and efficient operations. Equipment may be used for long hours by a wide range of members, while operators need products that remain reliable without creating unnecessary maintenance work.
For YR, this makes product development an operational question as much as a training one.
The goal is not simply to add more features, but to design equipment that performs reliably, is easier to maintain and helps reduce the long-term cost of running a gym network.
The LeFit project reflects a broader direction for YR: using direct feedback from large fitness operators to refine products around the realities of commercial gym operations.
