NEW YORK, Oct. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Y&R landed top accolades at this year's Golden Drum International Festival of Creativity, Central and Eastern Europe's most prestigious advertising festival. Picking up a Grand Prix in Press, five Golden Drum awards and six Silver Drum awards, the network landed a second place overall ranking at the festival.
The Grand Prix in Press was awarded to Y&R Prague for its Forbes "Cancer/Oceans/Poverty/Forests/Animals" campaign. The beautifully crafted campaign showcased heavy-hitting facts and statistics behind the costs of changing the world – from cleaning the oceans to curing cancer.
The outstanding performance of the Prague office also included three Golden Drum awards for UNHCR's campaigns in the Film category for "Windless"; the Press category for "Hang glider/Coal train"; and the Public Relations category for "We Were the Refugees Once." Y&R Prague also took home a Silver Drum award for UNHCR "We Were the Refugees Once," and a Silver award for its Doctors Without Borders "Playlists for Life" campaign.
A Golden Drum was also awarded to Y&R Istanbul in Press for Baba Radyo's "Wedding" work, as well as to Young & Rubicam FMS LLC, Mindshare Russia for TrendsBrands.ru's "Likeable Discount."
