Yummie by Heather Thomson Partners with Panaxis Inc. to Expand Canadian Distribution

NEW YORK, March 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Yummie by Heather Thomson, the New York-based shapewear, ready-to-wear and denim brand, announces a partnership with Panaxis Inc. to expand its Canadian distribution.  Effective March 2013, Panaxis Inc. will distribute Yummie by Heather Thomson shapewear to leading retailers across Canada, including Hudson's Bay Co. and independent retailers.

Panaxis Inc., the Toronto-based leading supplier in Canada, is a major distributor for American-based brands, consisting of hosiery, intimates, shapewear and ready-to-wear, including Calvin Klein, HUE, Lodis and Wooden Ships.  Panaxis' strategic alliances with existing U.S branded product has resulted in a strong Canadian market share and long-standing relationships with department and specialty stores.

Panaxis Inc. will launch its partnership with Yummie by Heather Thomson by introducing the Spring '13 collection in over 40 locations of Hudson's Bay in addition to specialty boutiques.  Committed to inventory that will take Yummie Tummie intimates shapewear through the Spring/Summer '13 season, Panaxis will continue to expand Yummie by Heather Thomson's presence across Canada through Fall/Holiday '13 by supplying retailers with the brand's ready-to-wear and denim collections.
