Zacks Leverages Crowdfunding to Fill Research gap in Micro Cap Companies

CHICAGO, Dec. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The most important tool any investor can have is information about the company he plans to invest in. Zacks Investment Research is launching a microcap research newsletter and has selected the first company for a detailed investigation.

The Indiegogo campaign, http://www.ZacksIR.com, is looking for $7,000 to get the project off the ground. Campaign perks start at $150 and delivers the 10-page newsletter report on the first micro cap company. Backers get this report two weeks ahead of public release.

Moving up the ladder, the first report is always included. At the $600 level, investors get another five months of Zacks reports on micro caps. Again, each report will be available two weeks before the public release, which will include a variety of popular financial channels. The $1,500 level gets 12 months of reports and participation in a 60-minute conference call with consultants who evaluate the companies listed in the reports.
