Zenoss Announces Unlock Program for Cisco UCS® Performance Manager

AUSTIN, Texas, July 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Zenoss today announced that Cisco UCS Performance Manager customers can unlock a free upgrade to Zenoss Service Dynamics. The Cisco-promoted Unlock Program immediately provides customer with broader function, enables expanded device support including Cisco ACI, and enables new integrations to IT tools including ServiceNow.

Zenoss developed Cisco UCS Performance Manager, which Cisco has sold under an OEM contract since 2014. UCS Performance Manager provides a subset of the features of the flagship Zenoss Service Dynamics product.

Customers in the Unlock Program can elect to continue using the software on their Cisco servers or migrate to the popular Zenoss as a Service (ZaaS) hosted offering. With ZaaS, customers receive full product benefits on managed cloud resources, with Zenoss specialists ensuring software operations, supporting customer software use, and maintaining and upgrading software versions.

Unlocking Zenoss Service Dynamics enables customers to move to the market-leading Zenoss software-defined IT operations platform. New capabilities include:

• Broad device coverage with access to the full ZenPack catalog, supporting over 400 IT infrastructure device types
• Flexibility to add custom device types using the ZenPack Software Development Kit
• Improved availability from the patented Service Impact system, which rapidly identifies services that have been affected by an infrastructure incident
• Customizable reporting and data retention from the Analytics data warehouse
• Proven integration with other IT tools including ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Dynatrace, SaltStack and many more
• Extended function with network topology maps, Docker support, process monitoring, synthetic transactions and more
• Expanded deployment options including remote data collectors

Rather than continue providing UCS Performance Manager as a standalone product, unique Cisco UCS unified fabric management capabilities are now fully integrated into Zenoss Service Dynamics.
