PLANO, Texas, Aug. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare, has renewed ZeOmega's end-to-end population health management solution as fully compliant with the standards of its Disease Management (DM) certification program. The certification means that Jiva has for a second time passed a rigorous, voluntary review process, earning the NCQA seal of approval for use with comprehensive disease management programs.
Organizations must renew NCQA DM certifications every two years. ZeOmega, a leading provider of population health management solutions, first earned the certification for Jiva in 2015. Jiva's 2017 certification covers 10 disease management programs: arthritis, asthma, coronary artery disease (CAD), congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), depression, diabetes, hypertension, renal disease, and stroke.
