ZEUS AGREEMENT SIGNED AT ENERGY ASIA 2025, ACCELERATING PATHWAY TO ZERO-EMISSION POWER

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif., Aug. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Clean Energy Systems Inc. (CES), PETRONAS, MISC Berhad (MISC), and Aker Solutions AS (AKSO) have officially signed an agreement for the ZEUS Demo Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED), marking a pivotal step in the development of the Zero Emission Power Station (ZEUS) project. The agreement was formalized at the Energy Asia 2025 Conference in Kuala Lumpur.

ZEUS represents a breakthrough in zero-emission power generation, leveraging CES' high-pressure oxyfuel-based thermal technology with integrated CO₂ capture and repurposing. The FEED phase aims to demonstrate ZEUS' ability to generate dispatchable, zero-emission power using high-CO₂ natural gas streams, transforming previously stranded gas reserves into sustainable energy sources. Once validated, the technology may be scaled up for both onshore and offshore deployment, including floating power applications.
