Zinwave and Mobilitie LLC Facilitate Reliable In-Building Cellular Coverage at 9/11 Memorial Museum in NYC

Zinwave announced today that its System 3000 was utilized to enhance wireless service for Mobilitie's in-building distributed antenna system (DAS) recently launched at 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City.

Mobilitie LLC is a leading provider of wireless infrastructure solutions in the US. Mobilitie's new communications infrastructure, which utilizes System 3000's wideband capabilities, is providing multi-service coverage for all major carriers at the museum's underground location, spanning more than 110,000 square feet.

The Museum's dedication ceremony was led by President Obama on May 15 and was opened to the public on May 21. The facility has been built below the 9/11 Memorial Plaza, which opened in 2011.

"System 3000" supports all cellular and public safety services between 150MHz-2700MHz on a single hardware layer, regardless of protocol or modulation scheme. It is also able to support multiple FDD and TDD LTE services simultaneously across any spectrum allocated globally, providing an efficient capability for future upgrades and spectrum additions.
