$135 Million Class Settlement Fund Established for Maui Wildfire Victims Not Participating in the Individual Settlement Fund

MAUI, Hawaii, Sept. 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The following statement is being issued by Simpluris, Inc., court-appointed settlement administrator, regarding the Maui Fires Class Settlement.

Following the approval of a $4.037 billion Global Settlement to support those impacted by the devastating 2023 wildfires on Maui, a $135 million Class Settlement Fund has been established to provide compensation to eligible residents, businesses, and others affected. The balance of the Global Settlement will be reserved for the Individual Settlement Fund, designated for those represented by attorneys.
