2013 Green Home Tour Showcases Seven Briar Chapel Homes

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., April 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Briar Chapel, a new home community in Chapel Hill, NC, announced today that seven of its homes will be featured in the annual Green Home Tour, taking place this weekend and next, April 13-14 and 20-21. The tour offers Triangle-area residents a fun, free way to learn about green technology and design trends while enjoying the beautiful April weather. Held by the Homebuilders Association of Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties, the tour showcases newly built, green-certified homes in the Triangle area, allowing the public to see cutting-edge renewable energy and green building practices at work. This year's Green Home Tour uses the MyHomeFound app to guide participants, displaying images and information of each home.
