BOSTON, Sept. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Fueled by a growing roster of blue-chip consumer clients, 360 Public Relations today announced the opening of 360 Public Relations New York. Rob Bratskeir has been named Executive Vice President and General Manager of 360PR New York. He will also serve as Creative Director across the agency, working closely with practice leaders and account teams in Boston and New York.
"Establishing a New York presence is a natural and incredibly energizing next step for our agency. Instantly, we are closer to our growing roster of New York-based clients, and our account teams, who are frequently in New York, have greater on-ground support," said Laura Tomasetti, 360PR CEO and founder. "New York also widens our talent pool, an area of focus as we continue to grow. Rob is a perfect first hire for us in New York. In addition to understanding the market and the media, Rob blends big picture, creative thinking with the hands-on execution our senior team is known for."
Most recently a New York-based consultant to PR firms and consumer marketers, Bratskeir formerly served as Executive Vice President at Bratskeir & Company in New York, where he spent 17 years developing integrated marketing campaigns for leading brands spanning food and beverage, healthcare, retail, toys and spirits. Bratskeir's recent thought leadership initiatives have helped to increase share of voice for brands such as illy, the leading Italian coffee company.
"I deeply admire how Laura has grown 360PR the right way over the past 10 years, by aligning the agency's success with that of the agency's clients, by methodically evolving around genuine areas of expertise, and by maintaining remarkable discipline in seeking, winning and becoming more vital to the right kinds of clients," said Bratskeir. "I've had the good fortune to know Laura for many years and to work with the phenomenal team at 360PR in a consulting role. This feels like home already."
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, 360PR has experienced significant growth in recent years, establishing the agency as a major player in its practice areas of Entertainment & Electronics, Healthy Living, @ Home, Parenting, and 360 Social. A common thread across practice groups is 360PR's award-winning social and digital media work. With roots in the video game industry, 360PR was a first-mover in consumer communities online a decade ago. It has successfully translated its experience with gamers to other consumer-enthusiast audiences – foodies, green consumers, techies, parents and more.
