360 Security Introduces New App, 360 Security Lite, to Mobile Consumers Globally with 1 GB of Memory or Less

BEIJING, Oct. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- 360 Security, a mobile antivirus and performance application for Android users, today announced the launch of its new 360 Security Lite application (app) now available for free download in the Google Play store. The 360 Security Lite app (4MB) offers the same boost, clean and antivirus protection as the 360 Security app, but is specially designed for phones with 1 gigabyte of memory or less.

Building on its years of experience, the new 360 Security Lite is an all-in-one free speed booster and antivirus app. The app also scans a user's device for viruses, malware, adware, ransomware, vulnerabilities and Trojans. 360 Security Lite allows users to speed up their devices, or clean up junk files for bigger memory space and longer battery life for smaller capacity phones.

360 Security Lite is addressing a need among a segment of mobile users who have small memory or older devices. Indeed, many users in the US, and globally, have mobile devices with 1GB or less of ram. Mobile users with limited storage and lower ram don't require the full 360 Security app suite of capabilities but still require protection as a lot of early model mobile devices and those with smaller memory capacity may not be up-to-date with the latest OS software, leaving them vulnerable to security threats. 360 Security Lite adds a layer of protection to those devices.
