New autonomous store lets students, faculty, and staff shop and go, with no lines and no checkout, day or night.

KIRKLAND, Wash., Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- 365 Retail Markets, a member of Amazon's Just Walk Out Certified Partner Network, today announced the opening of a new checkout-free store for Evergreen Refreshments, the Pacific Northwest's longest-serving breakroom service provider, in the cafeteria at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. The store brings Amazon's Just Walk Out technology together with the 365 platform Evergreen Refreshments already uses to run its campus locations.

Unlike a micro market or a locked vending cabinet, the new store gives shoppers a full, walkable retail space with a wider selection of products. Shoppers enter using a card, mobile wallet, or the 365Pay app at the entry gate. The technology detects what shoppers take from or return to the shelves and builds a virtual cart as they shop. When shoppers are finished selecting their items, they simply leave the store, and their chosen payment method is charged for the items they took.

It also expands access during hours that previously offered only vending machines or no options at all, providing the campus with a consistent shopping experience at any hour.
