A Cut Above: Celebrity Apex Begins Her Journey To The Top

SAINT-NAZAIRE, France, July 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrity Cruises is poised to transform the way modern travelers experience the world – all over again – as the first piece of steel is cut on its newest ship, Celebrity Apex, at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard (formerly STX France) in Saint-Nazaire, France. When completed, Celebrity Apex will take her place as the height of modern luxury, so its name couldn't be more apt. The second ship in Celebrity's revolutionary Edge series, Celebrity Apex comes right in the wake of the industry's most anticipated new ship, Celebrity Edge.
