A Mirror For More Than Selfies: Speck, Crisis Text Line Kick Off 'Sticker Project' In Every U.S. Bathroom

Crisis Text Line is a not-for-profit organization that provides free, 24/7 support for people in crisis via text message. Over the past four years, 45 million messages have been exchanged between people in crisis and more than 3,400 trained volunteer counselors.

That's why Speck has pledged to support Crisis Text Line Founder Nancy Lublin's goal of placing a sticker with information on how to get help in every bathroom in America — the place many people seek refuge during a personal crisis.

"Everyone uses the bathroom. Like, every. Single. Human. Everywhere," Lublin said. "And we want everyone to know that there is free, fast, and anonymous help available if they are in crisis."

The stickers have instructions for those in need of crisis support to text TBH to 741741 and can be ordered for free by schools, counseling centers, youth groups, or any individual hoping to make an impact. Speck and Crisis Text Line encourage everyone, with permission, to distribute the stickers in bathrooms across the country.

It's not always easy to ask for help, but Crisis Text Line is on a mission to change that.
