The standalone game brings ABCmouse's research-backed early learning content to children through the Netflix mobile experience
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Age of Learning, the company behind ABCmouse, the most downloaded kids' education app trusted by families and educators for more than 15 years, today announced the launch of a new standalone ABCmouse mobile game for Netflix members worldwide. The game brings a curated collection of ABCmouse's award-winning learning activities, animated lessons, and books to children ages 2–8, all fully playable offline after the initial download.
Age of Learning and Netflix share a commitment to giving families high-quality content that children enjoy and parents can feel good about, now available on a platform millions of them already use every day.
Built for children ages 2 to 8, the experience spans reading and writing, math, science and health, art and music, and social-emotional learning, with a primary focus on ages 4 to 6, a critical developmental window for early literacy and numeracy. A toddler track for ages 2 to 3 is anchored by fan-favorite character Todd Ler'Fox, while additional reading and math content supports early elementary learners ages 7 and 8. Parents remain in control, choosing when and how the game fits into their family's routine.
Each activity is built around a specific learning objective, drawing from ABCmouse's proven curriculum. The launch lineup features more than 300 games, books, and videos, including:
- Letter Bubbles: playful letter recognition and phonics practice that builds early reading skills
- Paint by Numbers: number recognition and counting through a creative, hands-on format
- Rainbow Traceables: letter and number tracing that builds early handwriting and fine motor skills
- Passport to Adventure: reading and cultural exploration that introduces children to different places around the world
This same purposeful approach is behind ABCmouse's results: in a randomized controlled trial, Pre-K children who used ABCmouse as recommended doubled their learning gains in early reading and math1.
"At ABCmouse, we build an experience that children love with a focus on building strong academic foundations. We start with what children need to learn and build an experience they'll love around it," said Alex Galvagni, CEO of Age of Learning. "For more than 15 years, that commitment to both educational rigor and genuine engagement has set ABCmouse apart. Bringing that approach to Netflix is a natural extension of our mission, meeting families on a platform they already trust and giving millions more children a way in."
"This collaboration is a powerful example of how the right distribution relationship can expand access to high-quality learning," said Ariella Morik, Vice President of Business Development at Age of Learning. "By bringing proven ABCmouse activities to Netflix members, we're meeting families in an experience they already know and making it easier for children around the world to engage with meaningful, ad-free learning—wherever they are, even offline."
