BETHESDA, Md., Jan. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Abt Associates' Global Intranet has been named one of the 10 best-designed intranets for 2014 by the Nielsen Norman Group, a user-experience research firm.

In announcing the award, which is open to sites worldwide, Nielsen Norman called attention to Abt Global Intranet's (AGI) focus on responsive, mobile-first design, noting that Abt "resolved to redesign the intranet to enable global collaboration on projects and proposals, so staff everywhere could access the latest company thinking on breakthrough methods and innovation."
