Lucia Lebens has joined ACA as director of Federal Government Affairs. She brings more than a decade of experience in Washington D.C. and will lead ACA's federal lobbying and federal regulatory efforts. Prior to joining ACA, Lucia was a principal at the Bockorny Group and vice president of mCapitol Management where she managed legislative initiatives. Her Capitol Hill experience includes serving as deputy chief of staff to U.S. Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN).
Andy Madden has joined ACA as director of State Government Affairs. He brings more than 18 years of experience in lobbying, monitoring state regulatory and legislative initiatives, fundraising and managing relationships. Prior to joining ACA, Andy worked as a consultant to the National Republican Trust PAC and was senior intergovernmental affairs officer in the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs at the U.S. Department of Labor. He was also senior vice president at Bond & Company, a well-known Washington D.C. government relations firm, and has held positions with the American Legislative Exchange Council, National Policy Forum, and FTC Watch.
Rae Ann Bevington has joined ACA as director of ACPAC. She brings more than 20 years of political action committee and legislative experience. Prior to joining ACA, Rae Ann was vice president of legislative and political affairs for the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) and treasurer of the association's political action committee. Previously, she was the senior vice president of the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America and has held positions with the National Association of Broadcasters Television and Radio PAC, U.S. Representative Michael Strang (R-CO).
Leah Dempsey, Esq. has been promoted by ACA to legislative counsel. She brings nearly a decade of federal legislative, regulatory, persuasive writing and legal experience. Previously, she was responsible for ACA's federal legislative and regulatory tracking, and legal and federal election law research. Prior to joining ACA, Leah worked for the Keelen Group, the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the Maryland Attorney General's office.
