ACA International Elects New Leadership

MINNEAPOLIS, July 26, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Capping an historic change to its organizational governance structure, ACA International, the association of credit and collection professionals, has chosen Thomas Stockton of Texas to lead the newly elected 15-member board of directors.  


After years of analysis, ACA members approved a new governance structure in March 2012. In addition to a 15-member Board of Directors, ACA has created a Council of Delegates representing its diverse membership. The election of the new board by the Council of Delegates at ACA's recent 73rd Annual Convention and Exposition in Hollywood, Fla. was the final step in the transition. "I am both proud and humble to serve ACA members, particularly at such an important time in the association's history," said Stockton, whose term runs until July 2013.

Stockton is an armed forces veteran and received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy.
