Accel Partners Welcomes New Partner Brian O'Malley

PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Accel Partners, a leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm, today announced Brian O'Malley as the latest addition to the firm's early stage team. Brian most recently was a General Partner at Battery Ventures, where he focused on seed and early stage investments in consumer internet, cloud services and application software.

Prior to Battery, Brian spent several years as an entrepreneur, most recently at Bowstreet, Inc. (acquired by IBM) where he built some of the first web service-based API integrations.  He started his career as a web developer for Motorola Computer Group during his sophomore year of college. He is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he completed a Dual Concentration in Entrepreneurial Finance and Management.
