Accenture Deputy Legal Counsel Honored for Outstanding Law Firm Diversity Efforts
MILWAUKEE, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Joel Stern, deputy general counsel, at Accenture, will receive the 2010 Award for Outstanding Service by an Advisory Council Member from the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF).
Joel Stern is the Deputy General Counsel and Director of Legal Services N. America for the Accenture Legal Group. In this role he is responsible for leading a team of Legal Professionals who provide legal and contract support in the United States and Canada. Joel is also the Global Operations Legal Lead for Accenture and serves on the Board of Directors of the Accenture Foundation. Joel is one of the Legal Group's diversity champions leading several of the group's diversity initiatives. Joel also received this Outstanding Service award in 2008.
