Enhancing Mobility Leads to Independence
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Butterfli Technologies, Inc., is proud to announce that it has been awarded its third consecutive year of funding through the Access for All (AFA) Grant Program from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro). This critical initiative reaffirms our shared commitment to providing equitable transportation solutions for individuals with mobility challenges throughout the Los Angeles region.
The AFA Program aims to expand access to Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) demand-responsive and scheduled transportation. Butterfli activated in its third year of service in September 2025. Butterfli continues to deliver safe, secure, reliable, and customer-sensitive services. The mission of the AFA Program is to empower community members with disabilities who have experienced barriers to transportation services that meet their needs, are safe, and secure from pick-up to drop-off. This Program allows eligible riders to live with greater independence, access essential resources, and participate more fully in the activities of daily life.
