Acclaimed comedian George Lopez live at Fallsview Casino

2013 Entertainment line-up features comedy, dance and music

NIAGARA FALLS, ON, Oct. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Fallsview Casino Resort is pleased to announce its January 2013 line-up and a first-time appearance by Grammy nominated George Lopez, who will bring his unique style and humour to the Avalon stage for two nights on January 9 &10 at 8:30 pm.

A multi-talented entertainer, Lopez' career encompasses television, film, stand-up comedy and late-night television. After co-creating, writing, producing and starring in Warner Bros. television's groundbreaking hit sitcom George Lopez, which ran for six seasons on ABC, he hosted Lopez Tonight, a late-night television talk show on TBS. Lopez received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been recognized as one of "The 25 Most Influential Hispanics in America" and one of "The Top Ten Favourite Television Personalities" by Time magazine and the Harris Pole respectively. He has co-hosted the Emmy Awards and twice hosted the Latin Grammys.

Joining George Lopez in kicking-off the 2013 concert season will be the international hit production Spirit of the Dance. Winner of nine Global awards, including best choreography and best international production, this foot-stomping show returns to the Avalon stage showcasing the skill and precision of world champion Irish dancers.

Leading off the 2013 international concert series, Taiwan-based pop vocalist and classically-trained pianist Valen Hsu makes her debut at Fallsview Casino. Hsu will take the stage for two nights engaging fans with a selection of hits from her latest album.
