AccountNow Acquires nFinanSe Payment Card Operations

SAN RAMON, Calif., Dec. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AccountNow, Inc., today announced that the company completed its acquisition of the payment card operations of nFinanSe Inc., a provider of stored value and prepaid cards distributed at retail stores.   nFinanSe is also the developer of nFinanSe Network™, a secure, reliable value load and activation platform that connects with retail merchants and other value load stations located throughout the United States.  Money transmission activities will remain with nFinanSe Payments Inc. until receipt of required regulatory approvals, at which time AccountNow will acquire the nFinanSe Network™.  AccountNow, Inc. is a leading provider of general purpose reloadable (GPR) prepaid cards in direct-to-consumer sales under the AccountNow and ReadyDebit brands.

nFinanSe cards will continue to function exactly as before the acquisition, and cardholders will continue to have access to account information at www.nFinanSe.com.  Consumers can also access locations to purchase or load nFinanSe cards at the website.  Support activities for nFinanSe card operations and the nFinanSe Network™ will be maintained in Tampa, FL.
