ActiveBatch's new Netezza support is made possible through a new set of production-ready Netezza Job Steps in the application's Integrated Jobs Library.  These job steps, which eliminate the need for command line use and/or expensive scripting, include NzLoadData for loading data into the Netezza appliance; NZ-PLSQL Block to execute SQL queries in the Netezza SQL language; and NZBackup for database backups.  In addition, the ActiveBatch Execution Agent can be installed directly on the Netezza host to support direct access to all Netezza operations.
