Advantage Partners Expands ISO Certification Services with ISO/IEC 42001 and ISO/IEC 27701 Accreditations

New IAS accreditations expand certification capabilities across AI governance and privacy management

SEATTLE, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Montlake Partner Group LLC dba Advantage Partners, today announced accreditation from the International Accreditation Service (IAS) for ISO/IEC 42001 and ISO/IEC 27701, expanding its ISO certification services.

The accreditations authorize Advantage Partners to perform certification audits and issue certifications in two areas of growing importance to technology companies: AI management and data privacy. They build on the firm's existing ISO/IEC 27001 accreditation.

ISO/IEC 42001 is the international standard for an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS). It sets requirements for organizations that develop, provide, or use AI systems, covering governance, risk management, transparency, accountability, and responsible use.

ISO/IEC 27701 establishes a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS), helping organizations formalize how they manage personally identifiable information (PII), privacy risks, data subject rights, and vendor relationships.

Advantage Partners' accredited ISO portfolio now spans ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, ISO/IEC 27701 for privacy, and ISO/IEC 42001 for AI. Organizations already running ISO management systems can build on existing processes rather than treating security, privacy, and AI governance as separate initiatives.

Advantage Partners is accredited to ISO/IEC 27701:2019 and is transitioning to ISO/IEC 27701:2025 in accordance with IAS transition requirements.
