Aegis Ventures Welcomes Digital Health Leader Bunny Ellerin as Chief Ecosystem Officer

NEW YORK, April 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Aegis Ventures today announced the appointment of Bunny Ellerin as Chief Ecosystem Officer. Aegis is a New York-based venture studio that partners with entrepreneurs and industry leaders to build and scale AI-native healthtech companies that tackle the hard problems in healthcare.

Bunny Ellerin is a healthcare founder, entrepreneur, advisor, and ecosystem builder who is widely recognized for her robust network across digital health. Over her career, Bunny has been both a healthtech company-builder and leader and has launched several of the industry's most influential communities. Most recently, Bunny was Co-Founder and CEO of Digital Health New York (DHNY), where she played a central role in establishing New York City as a leading hub for healthcare innovation bringing together key stakeholders to accelerate growth and collaboration. At DHNY, she launched and scaled DHNY Summit into the region's premier industry gathering; created the New York Digital Health 100, spotlighting the area's most promising startups; and developed the New York Healthcare Innovation Report, a widely read source of data, trends, and insights shaping the market.

As Chief Ecosystem Officer at Aegis, Bunny will lead end-to-end founder and ecosystem development, including leading a broad slate of events to develop and deepen Aegis's industry relationships, sourcing top entrepreneurial talent, building and activating a high-quality Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) and operator network, and driving strategic relationships across health systems, life sciences, payers, and other ecosystem leaders. She will also partner closely with Aegis portfolio companies and internal teams to strengthen talent pipelines, amplify Aegis' founder value proposition, and operationalize systems to track and optimize sourcing, engagement, and ecosystem impact.
