Within hours of the news, multiple GoFundMe campaigns were created to support the victims and families. Over the last few days, the GoFundMe community has collectively raised over $150,000 from more than 175 campaigns to support the individuals impacted by the flood.
The GoFundMe community has a history of coming together in the aftermath of a natural disaster. Donations continue to pour in for those impacted by the fires in Canada, raising over $1 million.
