DALLAS, March 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Zabo, raised a $1.15 million seed investment from New York-based Blockchange Ventures in February 2018, to create a cryptocurrency banking application. Zabo lets users get paid in Bitcoin by allocating your pay between cash and cryptocurrency. Zabo's licensed banking partner will provide FDIC-insured US Dollar bank accounts  and be governed and compliant with applicable federal and state money transmission laws and regulations. The product, currently under development is intended for launch mid 2019.
Zabo Founders Alex Treece and Christopher Brown are presenting Zabo at Venture Summit West 2019 in San Francisco CA. March 6th and 7th. The summit, named Venture Summit West 2019, one of the top Bitcoin events of the year by Blockchain Exchange Guide, will feature insightful discussions on the newest technologies and latest trends currently shaping the future.

Alex is Co-Founder and President of Zabo and serves as Director at the University of Texas at Dallas' Jindal School of Management. Previously, Alex was the lead Product Manager at Sentieo focused on building a modern cryptoasset data platform. Alex began his career as an investment banker at Stephens and later joined the global private equity firm Riverside Company.
About Christopher Brown
Christopher is Co-Founder and CEO of Zabo. Christopher started his career in the US military, serving for 8 years in various capacities, including airspace design, air traffic control, systems security, and information security. After the military Christopher graduated with his MBA from Southern Methodist University and built the Cactus Engine, financial software focused on asset valuation and market analytics. Christopher has been working with blockchain and decentralized applications since 2016.
