The new release adds several key capabilities, including:

Lab
- Field-integrated, chain-of-custody sample tracking of any sample type (in addition to test order, scheduling, reporting, and billing extract) is designed to enhance the speed, efficiency, and quality of materials or analytical lab operations.
Scheduling & Dispatch
- Integrating back office resource management with mobile device capabilities, the new module enables field service managers and schedulers to manage project work orders, personnel workloads, and certification compliance on job activities.
DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Forms
- Designed to support new or existing lines-of-business with on-the-fly data entry forms and report creation, the new Activity module enables businesses to leverage MetaField® for just about any discipline requiring field data collection, quality review, reporting, and data mining. Example lines-of-business include various construction services, environmental consulting, surveying, non-destructive examination, commissioning etc.
