To use this unique app, customers enter specific information—such as type of fluid in the pipeline, pipeline distance, basic elevations, desired pig speed, and back pressure—to calculate the volume, flow rate, and pressure suitable to push their pig and complete a purge or displacement. Calculations can be saved on the user's mobile device or instantly emailed to Air Products' APEX Services team for assessment and response.
