About Family Circle's "Circle of Excellence" Awards: Editors choose products in each of the three categories, which they believe embody "the award criteria of quality, value and exceeds brand expectations." These selected products are then sent to "mom testers" chosen from the Family Circle Roundtable consumer panel, a group of more than 7,000 women who, for the last four years, have been surveyed by the magazine in an effort to gain consumer insight on various areas of interest. Moms were given two weeks to test all of the products. At the end of the two-week period, the products that received the highest ratings were declared the winners of the "Circle of Excellence" mark.
