IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ALCATEL ONETOUCH, a top five mobile phone manufacturer in North America*, today announced Jon Maron as Vice President of Marketing and Communications to continue the brand's growth in North America. Since the end of 2013, ALCATEL ONETOUCH has been one of the most consistent mobile brands in North America in terms of market share growth, and with the addition of Maron, set its sights on accelerating its fast growth and rising position into 2016 and beyond.

Maron joins ALCATEL ONETOUCH from W2O Group where he was the Managing Director for the agency's technology practice working with consumer, IoT, enterprise and technology brands in the U.S. Prior to this, Maron was Vice President of Marketing, Americas for HTC where he helped grow the company into one of the most recognizable consumer brands in the world. He has also held senior marketing positions at LG and Sony Ericsson.
In his role as the VP of Marketing and Communications for ALCATEL ONETOUCH in North America, Maron will oversee all efforts for the brand, product marketing and communications, as well as working with the company's international business teams on global initiatives.
