Alexander's Achieves Latest ISO Quality Management Certification

BALTIMORE, Oct. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- In support of their mission to be the leading global partner providing the highest quality mobility services, Alexander's Mobility Services recently achieved the latest level of certification in ISO quality standards, ISO 9001:2015. This distinguished certification places Alexander's among the first American moving, storage and relocation companies to achieve this newest level of rigorous quality standards and practices.

"Our commitment to quality is the most important element of our success," said Alexander's President Don Hill. "Every area of our business relies on delivering what we promise and ensuring the highest quality from start to finish. We are excited to achieve this newest certification and continue our commitment to superior service for our customers."

In 1997, Alexander's Mobility Services became the first moving company in North America to certify their quality management system to ISO 9002 standards and eventually to ISO 9001:2008 standards. ISO 9001:2015 is the fifth edition of these international standards first published in 1987, which have become the global benchmark for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.

In addition to these updated quality ISO standards, as an agent for Atlas Van Lines, Alexander's also adheres to the Atlas World Class Commitment program which is a program for Atlas agents who have shown extraordinary dedication to continuous improvement and service excellence over the period of one year. These criteria include ratings on 12 stringent standards including customer satisfaction, safety, claims and technology. Agents who manage to exceed the criteria of this program plus earn Atlas' highest hauling award, the Hauling Excellence Award, are rewarded with the Milton Maxwell Hill Quality Award. The agencies who win this award are considered to be among the finest service providers in the industry. Alexander's has won this award more than one hundred and forty times since its inception.
