Purpose-driven luxury house AGCF will open its second boutique inside The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort in fall 2026, marking its first East Coast location and continuing Alexandra Gucci Zarini's family legacy with St. Regis
LONGBOAT KEY, Fla., Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AGCF, the purpose-driven luxury accessories house founded by Alexandra Gucci Zarini, and The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort today announced the opening of AGCF's second boutique, opening inside the resort's lobby in today. The opening marks AGCF's first East Coast location, following the house's flagship at 479 N. Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and brings the Gucci family's historic connection to St. Regis to Florida's Gulf Coast for the first time.
The opening carries a rare historical symmetry. In 1960, Aldo Gucci, the visionary who transformed his father's Florentine workshop into a global luxury house, opened a store for the family business at The St. Regis New York, with a boutique inside the hotel on the 55th Street side and the family's Fifth Avenue store adjacent to it. Aldo Gucci was equally a pioneer of Rodeo Drive, where he helped establish the street as the West Coast capital of luxury. AGCF's first boutique, at 479 N. Rodeo Drive, was conceived as an homage to him, and the house continues to honor his legacy through each of its retail locations. More than 65 years after he brought the family name to St. Regis, his granddaughter now brings her own house back, this time on Florida's Gulf Coast, pairing the heritage of the St. Regis name with a new generation of luxury hospitality.
"My grandfather understood that the world's great hotels are where luxury lives," said Alexandra Gucci Zarini, Founder of AGCF. "For me, returning to St. Regis is not nostalgia. It is a continuation, with a new purpose at its heart: the protection of children."
AGCF is a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation built on a singular idea, expressed in the house's guiding principle: "Giving is the highest luxury." Most AGCF pieces carry the house's signature Unità hardware, meaning "in unity for children." A portion of proceeds from the house's collections directly supports AGCF's charity partners dedicated to the protection and well-being of children.
"AGCF was built on Alexandra's vision that a luxury piece of the highest quality can be more than a sign of wealth or style. It can be a statement of character and a promise that, when we come together, we can inspire change," said Josef Zarini, Chief Executive Officer of AGCF. "The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort, the most luxurious beachfront resort in America, is the ideal home for our second boutique. It shares our belief that luxury, at its best, is defined by meaning, service, and legacy. We are honored to write this next chapter where the story began, under the St. Regis name."
"We are delighted to welcome AGCF to The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort, offering our guests an exclusive boutique experience," said Winfred van Workum, General Manager. "We are proud to welcome Alexandra Gucci Zarini and AGCF to our resort and to celebrate the enduring relationship between the Gucci family and St. Regis. This curated space invites guests to discover beautifully crafted pieces that reflect both artistry and purpose."
Set within the lobby of The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort, the boutique will present AGCF's full universe of handbags and small leather goods crafted in family-owned workshops, as well as silk scarves, jewelry, and eyewear, in an intimate salon setting. Guests will experience the house's four pillars: craftsmanship, timeless design, genuine purpose, and personal service, delivered in the tradition of St. Regis hospitality.
The opening coincides with AGCF's newly announced partnership with the World Childhood Foundation, founded by Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden, through the house's Color of Hope collection. Twenty percent of proceeds from all products in AGCF's signature green will support Childhood USA, the World Childhood Foundation's American chapter.
The AGCF Boutique at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort opened today, Thursday October 1, 2026.
